Most common site：sciatic nerve, brachial plexus, and sacral plexus
・10% of soft-tissue sarcomas
・40%–60% of MPNST arise from cases of NF1
・4% chance of malignant transformation in NF1
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　NF1：neurofibromatosis type 1
・5-year survival rate
　　50% for MPNST patients without NF1
　　10% for MPNST patients with NF1
